Title: Regional Sales Director, Public Sector – Fed-Civilian

Job Type: Full-Time 

Job Description: Successful candidate will have a measurable track record in building and maximizing Department of Homeland Security and Federal/Civilian sales territories or named accounts. This will be an individual contributor role.  


  • Consistently deliver challenging new business/upsell sales bookings targets – commitment to the number and to deadlines
  • Account planning, territory mapping and opportunity management
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with prospects, customers by selling value and ROI through strong customer relationships
  • Leverage sales engineering and professional services resources
  • Use our sales methodology and processes effectively
  • Understand how to leverage both international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and value to the customer
  • Good corporate citizen – two-way flow of relevant and timely information; work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources
  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketing


  • Ability to grow and scale upward with a growth technology company
  • Minimum of 5 years direct software sales experience to the Federal-Civilian agencies with an emphasis on the Department of Homeland Security
  • Very comfortable speaking with government executives (i.e. GS-15, SES, Political Appointees) focusing on organizations within IT, Security and Counterintelligence.  Must have a track record of closing six and seven figure perpetual or term software licensing, on premise or public/private cloud agreements along with accompanying profession services
  • Strong executive presence and polish
  • Forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy
  • Exceptional management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing software technology environment
  • Able to work independently and remotely with other members of your team and with other various regional corporate offices
  • Relevant software industry experience in cyber security, IT systems, and/or infrastructure technology
  • Use sales and marketing CRM systems extensively (Pipedrive, HubSpot, SalesForce experience all highly desired)
  • Verifiable track record of success (consistent over-achievement of annual sales targets) and knowledge with prospects and customers in the defined territory/market


  • Minimum of a Bachelor's  degree from a four-year accredited University or College
